We offer postgraduate courses in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field, consisting of the nine modules which form part of our Pathway for Learning, as well as training in osteopathic education and additional extra-pathway courses. Qualified osteopaths may attend any of these provided they fulfill the entry criteria. However, at any stage it is also possible to do these courses within the framework of our Pathway for Learning, which provides additional challenges and support, and on completion leads to membership of the SCC (MSCC).
It takes time to become skilled at using Sutherland's development of osteopathy. The concepts need to be understood, a considerable amount of theory has to be learned, and many practical skills acquired. As osteopaths work with the approach in practice, there is a gradual refining of skill and understanding. Most people find that a great deal of personal change and development takes place as they begin to appreciate the potential of Sutherland's vision.
The learning process is not always straightforward and easy but represents a supported pathway where you will never be alone. Pathway members pay an annual fee which covers support, the marking of assignments and two or three newsletters per year. You do not have to join the pathway to do our courses, and non pathway members can also subscribe to the newsletter.
The pathway is under constant evaluation and review to raise the standard, skill and competence of the osteopaths who complete it. Comments from participants can be reviewed under testimonials
